Daniel Reimer Jr is the founder and Managing Partner of Causeway Succession, LLC and brings over 8 years of professional experience in engineering, operations, proposals, education, sales, marketing, and business development as well as an M.B.A. from Rice University.

He began his journey in Mobile, Alabama, graduating from McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in 2005. Daniel then traveled to the University of Notre Dame, majoring in Civil Engineering.  However, before beginning his engineering career, he took two years to give back to the catholic school community that formed his morals, work ethic, and determination for success.  In addition to the service aspect of ACE, the program ended up being a valuable experience in operations and management within the small business world.

Over the next 6 years, Daniel worked within larger technical organizations with Thompson Engineering and Aker Solutions in Mobile and Houston.  As a key decision-maker for Aker Solutions North America, he contributed to upper-level strategy to position Aker Solutions for long-term success.

​

While at Aker Solutions, Daniel began his MBA from Rice University in 2017, finishing May 2019.  Through the Rice MBA, he gained the marketing, strategy, general management, and entrepreneurial experience to buy and run a small business.  Graduating in the top 15% of his class with a GPA of 3.80 provided Daniel’s acumen within the classroom.

Through his second year of the Rice MBA, Daniel made valuable connections with small-business-owners throughout the Rice network who have provided and will provide valuable mentorship, investment, and example for Causeway Succession, LLC as patrons serving on the Advisory Board.

 

He lives in Houston and enjoys volunteer work, shaving strokes off his golf game, grilling delicious meals, cheering for Notre Dame football, and taking trips to the mountains and beach.
