COMPANY
Business Characteristics:
• Strong leadership and determined vision
• Profitable
• Sticky and / or loyal customers
• Competitive differentiation and / or growing market
• Low customer and supplier concentration and / or high level of stability with major customers / suppliers
• 2-15 employees
Financial Characteristics:
• $300,000 to $700,000 annual SDE
• SDE above typically results in
$150,000 to $500,000 annual EBITDA
(depends on historical owner salary)
• History of solid revenue
• Reasonable revenue fluctuations do not bother Causeway, but due to funding strategy, results from 2023-2025 must be solid/acceptable each year to secure funding (likely SBA for a portion).
OWNER SITUATION
Business Characteristics:
• Retiring business owner or serial entrepreneur ready for next challenge
• Business owner available to assist with transition period in some capacity
• Possible creativity with structure of deal
• It is very important to us that existing leadership and ownership are on the same team as Causeway Succession, LLC and that the partnership is strong from day 1.
